Episode 22: Creating Access for All

(Summer Sendoff)H

Welcome back to Everybody at the Table. This is Episode 22, and it marks the end of our first season before we head into a summer sabbatical.

This podcast was born from resistance—a resistance to the anti-DEI movement, to shrinking opportunities, and to the erasure of stories like mine. I’m a Black girl from the South Side of Chicago. CPS-educated. I didn’t come up through the Ivy League. I wasn’t highly recruited out of high school. My path has been scrappy, intentional, and revealed over time.

That’s why I created this podcast—to inspire, empower, and make space for others navigating unconventional paths. Whether you look like me or not, if you believe in making room for others, this is your table, too.

Take a listen.
